Mundesley's wide-stretching sandy beaches and uncommercialised atmosphere make this small seaside resort popular with visitors. In keeping with tradition, Mundesley still has a large community of fishermen who can be seen launching their vessels from the beach. Mundesley's architectural style is varied and idiosyncratic and the town features a quaint Maritime Museum.

Mundesley village offers a butchers, greengrocers, tea-rooms, restaurants and pubs. There is also a fish and chip shop, of course.
